As co-founder of Brillect, Erica thrives on creating win-win opportunities by connecting brilliant talent with fulfilling career opportunities. Grounded by her commitment to helping people, she’s found the perfect union in matching consultants with roles that bring joy back into their work – and more flexibility in their lives – while helping clients tap into the right talent to advance their goals.

A seasoned finance and accounting executive, Erica pulls from a deep well of experience to guide her clients and consultants. She holds a B.A. in Accounting from Minnesota State University – Moorhead and is a CPA (inactive). Her tenure spans from a Big Four firm to global Fortune 500’s to a consultancy, serving in a variety of roles for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Target Corporation, Lawson Software, Best Buy and Salo.

Kelly loves getting to know people, hearing what brings them joy and helping them succeed – at work and at home. She believes work should be energizing, challenging and a community you can’t wait to join every day. From helping her clients solve complex problems to working with consultants to advance their career goals while finding balance at home, Kelly is committed to helping others be their best.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Kelly started her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and spent many years in compliance, project management and audit roles before making the leap to providing consulting and contract services. After her most recent position as an Account Executive at Microsoft, she co-founded Brillect to create a place where people can thrive in their careers and personal lives.

As a working mom of two daughters, Kristine has always had the desire to “do it all.” Believing there had to be a better way to work, Kristine co-founded Brillect to bring a new approach to balancing work + life. Kristine is proud to connect high-performing professionals desiring flexibility with finance and accounting leaders looking to partner with experienced, results-oriented talent.

Kristine brings a unique on-the-ground, been in your shoes credibility to her role as a trusted advisor to clients and consultants. She holds a BSB in Accounting and MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the Carlson School of Management, where she currently serves on the Alumni Board, and is also a CPA (inactive). She began her career in audit at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte and spent 18 years in progressively senior roles in Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury at Target Corporation.

Darcy is the ultimate go-getter, both professionally and personally, something clearly evidenced by her 4:30 wake-up call to swim laps in the pool every morning and her impressive professional background. After majoring in accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Darcy went on to earn a Certified Internal Audit designation. Business Operations Associate

Sam Mathiowetz

As a Business Operations Associate at Brillect, Sam Mathiowetz serves in a lead accounting role with responsibility for bookkeeping, financial reporting and contract administration. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Sam knows her stuff. She also has an extensive background in accounting and tax formed while working for Volunteers of America, Walser Automotive Group and Caliber Accounting.

Around the office, Sam is known as a quiet, but mighty force who keeps the accounting function running smoothly and precisely with her thoughtful, detail-oriented, and insightful management style.  Sam appreciates the comfortable, welcoming, and authentic culture at Brillect where everyone makes you feel right at home starting on day one.

Heather Lund

If there is one common thread throughout Heather Lund’s 20-year career in the staffing and recruiting industry, it is her passion for helping people develop their full potential. As an expert in training, coaching and leadership development, she enjoys helping people at all levels do their job more effectively and efficiently so they can achieve their goals.

In her role as Director of Training & Development, Heather creates onboarding, training, and leadership development programs to support our talented client solutions team. She guides professionals through all stages of their careers from onboarding to achieving success with clients and growing their business.

Business Operations Coordinator

Jennifer Foley

Jennifer Foley holds herself to a “white glove” standard of service when it comes to meeting the needs of her customers as Brillect’s Business Operations Coordinator. Her philosophy? “I don’t always have to be right, I just want to get it right.”

She brings extensive experience in the staffing industry where she is known for her collaborative, patient and attentive approach with customers. A naturally positive and curious person, she enjoys coming up with creative ideas and solutions to help others. All skills that uniquely align and benefit her role in reporting, time tracking, client invoicing, vendor management, data integrity and compliance. Jennifer thrives on creating efficiencies and streamlining processes on the Operations team and is excited to help Brillect scale for the growth ahead.

With a mega-watt smile and a love of organization, event planning and community building, Kelly Fitzgerald has found the perfect fit in her role as Brillect’s Office Manager. Leading our team of administrative professionals, Kelly makes it her mission to deliver an exceptional experience for all Brillect team members and guests. From well-executed events to everyday interactions, her impact in supporting the company’s leadership, business development, and marketing teams is omnipresent.

Backed by an impressive background in hospitality, office management, marketing and communications, Kelly thrives wearing many hats and enjoys the variety of work in her role, as well as the opportunity to support and build upon Brillect’s values-driven environment. Known for her mastery of event planning in her personal and professional lives, she loves creating experiences for all to enjoy.
